CURSES!
It's official. My Chili Con Carne is cursed. Delicious, but cursed. Here's hoping that it doesn't take another 21 years for Da Bears to make it back to the big game so I can redeem myself.
I got to meet the latest addition to some friends' family: Border Collie-German Shepherd mix Izzy the dog. (And no, she's not named after the character on Grey's). She's a sweet lil' pup that they rescued from a shelter. What a doll.
I'm very envious of the several Xangans who seem to have their taxes all wrapped up already. I'm still waiting for my father to find and purchase the best deal on this year's edition of Turbo Tax. Ever one to keep the faith, I'm considering looking into other options (perhaps even paper).

The Week In Preview
Aside from continuing to mourn the loss of Super Bowl XLI, I got nothing. Studying, dance, Pilates. Big whoop. Next week should definitely be more interesting. I swear.

ryc: HA! Actually Suellen told us a story about going to a party where someone had an $800 bottle of cognac. So, let's grab the cognac and see if she can help.
I used TurboTax this year and have for the past couple of years. I got my refund in less than 5 days! Well, state that is. Who knows when fed will come in. Direct deposit baby! Word.
I'm going to Jackson Hewitt again, simply because I'm lazy and I might itemize again. We'll see how that pans out. Plus, it was worth the $50 (gulp) for my paranoid mind last year , because I'm always worried I'll be audited. (well, H&R Block guarantees against auditing, or some such thing, I'm hoping JH does too)
