Whatcha Doing?
I've become suddenly tired this week. I know that doesn't really make sense since I just came back from a 5-day vacation. But 'tis so. I even skipped the gym tonight because I felt so...spent at the end of the day.
I'm starting to consider having my wedding dress custom made. What I want is on the simpler side, so I don't think that cost would be a deterring factor. Thoughts?
It's a little bit chilly in my house. Sounds to me like it's hot cocoa time!
Tomorrow one of our outside counsel with whom I work on trademark matters is in town from D.C. We're having lunch with him and I'm excited to meet him. My boss has been working with him for maybe 20+ years and has only met him a couple of times before.
Cocoa is calling!

I love the idea of custom made...simply because it's something special and unique. Plus, getting to help design it would be so fun! You could make it with special little touches that you wouldn't find on a standard dress...
They say a custom made dress isn't a bad idea and can actually save money. I guess you just have to find someone who knows what s/he's doing to make sure it comes out the way you really want it.
Knowing somewhat of what you are going through trying on dresses and having to guess what it will look like in your size etc. I totally support having the dress custome made. Depending on what you want and who you find to make it, it might be a cost saver. You will also get so much from it that you couldn't find in an off the rack dress.
I totally think you should go custom. That way you well never have to go back to David's Bridal hell. I swear that place makes my skin crawl. I think going simple but elegant fits your personality and will look stunning!
